Vallejo Underground Utility Project: Traffic Control & Pipe Replacement
Project Scope Overview
Traffic Control:
Devco obtained and is maintaining the necessary USA North dig alert ticket to ensure all underground public utilities are properly identified before work begins.
Pipe Replacement Work:
Devco will remove and replace about 100 feet of existing 4” pipe with new 6” HDPE pipe (or similar, pending city approval). The new pipe will follow the same route and maintain the existing 2% slope.
Installation Details:
South End: Pipe will start at about 8 feet below ground.
North End: Pipe will go under four lanes of Curtola Boulevard, ending at about 10 feet below ground.
Devco will supply all new 6” pipe and manage the replacement process from start to finish.
